Welcome to Doha Hockey Club.

Doha Hockey Club welcomes all players looking to play social hockey. Doha Hockey Club has a broad player base from beginners to ex-International and European first division players from all corners of the globe. Doha Hockey Club plays mixed hockey, for all ages.

Doha Hockey Club's primary focus is social hockey; to enjoy the game in a social environment, gain some fitness and expand the experience of working in Qatar. Doha Hockey Club fields teams in the Qatar Hockey League that is played between February and April each year.

Doha Hockey Club practices from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday nights from September to June/July (depending on the weather!), and plays matches on Friday afternoons during the National Hockey League from January to April.  Doha Hockey Club play on International standard water-based Astroturf pitches at Al Rayyan Sports Club, where the Asian Games hockey tournament was held in 2006.

From September 2009, Doha Hockey Club plans to develop this one step further and commence ladies only training sessions at the Qatar International School on Mondays (during school term) from 6 to 7:30 pm. These sessions will include some basic hockey skills with some coaching from the senior men and a game inside the school hall.
